I am Aswin, a UX Designer based in Melbourne.

I grew up in the Himalayas in India and have lived in several cities across both India and Australia. Moving between places has taught me how to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges. Growing up around diverse cultures has shaped the way I see the world, and I enjoy bringing that openness and cultural influence into the designs I create.

Outside of work, I enjoy long drives and bike rides. They’re my way of exploring and clearing my mind. I also keep a small watercolour journal, capturing simple moments and places in my own way.

Work

I’m currently working at Wevolt, a company focused on redefining the EV charging experience. As one of the first designers at the company, I’ve played a key role in shaping the brand, building the design system, conducting user research, and designing both the mobile and web applications. Spending three years in a young, rapidly growing startup has taught me how to balance business goals with engineering constraints, while consistently advocating for the user.

Before joining Wevolt, I worked with global organisations including Citibank, Verizon, and Infosys. With over 9 years of experience across large enterprises and fast-paced Australian startups, I’m comfortable collaborating with users and working closely with cross-functional teams to understand and solve real problems.

 

From the ground up, I help define, design, and launch products that create real value for users while driving meaningful outcomes for businesses.
